Website Design Development Process
After you place your order, you'll receive a form that breaks down the deliverables needed from your side, such as content, photos, and documents. You can submit as much as you have at this stage—no need to worry if everything isn’t ready right away! Additional materials can be sent before we finalize the draft.
Once I have the initial materials, I’ll begin designing the draft of your website. During this stage, I focus on bringing your vision to life, inputting the content you've provided, and filling in any gaps where I can help create additional content if needed. This step typically takes about 3+ weeks.
Once the draft is ready, I’ll send it to you along with a feedback form. This is your opportunity to review the design, request changes, and provide any additional content to finalize your website.
After the design is approved, I’ll transfer the website to your account. During this stage, I’ll integrate apps/plugins such as live chat, Instagram feed, gallery, and mailing pop-ups. For e-commerce websites, product uploads and e-commerce setup begin after the website is transferred to your account.
Rush Orders: If you require a quick turnaround, you can expedite the order and an additional fee will be added. Note that turnaround time excludes closed days, weekends, and holidays.
Turnaround: The website draft is typically completed within 2 to 3+ business weeks (excluding weekends or holidays). Factors like delayed communication or additional add-ons may extend the turnaround. Revision time can vary from 2 to 10 business days. Any changes not on the original order form will cause delays.
Refund: Due to the customized nature of my services, I am unable to provide refunds once a project has started, especially if work, including proofs, has been issued or labor has commenced. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, I am willing to make reasonable changes or provide credit to your design account for future use. However, a labor fee will be deducted for any ongoing projects. If a project is canceled by the client, the payment will serve as a cancellation fee.
Client Responsibilities: “The Client” must provide all requested project information promptly. This includes items like copywriting, logos, images, social media handles, etc., necessary for project completion.
Revision: Each design package includes an initial proof and three free revisions. Additional revisions are available for $50 each.
Hosting: WIX hosting is not included and must be purchased separately. WIX offer hosting services starting at $25/month or $225/year (sometimes you can catch a WIX special).
Domain: Domain is not included and must be purchased separately or transferred to WIX (I can walk you through this process). We recommend buying your domain via WIX.com. A free domain is offered at time of securing hosting.
